General Exhaust Fan Advice | It is recommended to achieve a minimum of 15 air changes per hour in a bathroom to remove excess moisture., To work this out, calculate the volume of air in the room ( length x width x height, all in meters) and multiply this by the number of air changes to get the required air volume of the fan. |
Ventair Sahara 4 in 1 heater – Black
$499.00
The Sahara features a rectangular LED light panel framed by linear vents. The subtlety of the design is unique among similar products allowing it to fit into a bathroom with a modern aesthetic. The Sahara also delivers on functionality measures with a high extraction rate and a high lumen output. Unlike radiant heaters, this fan forced heater will heat the entire room, not just the area directly below it. The LED light is 4000k ‘natural’ white. Impressively the Sahara allows you to use all 4 functions of the model independently of each other (exhaust, led light, heat, fan).
Compatible with 150mm ducting.
Includes: 3m duct (⌀150mm), external vent & Wall Switch.

Much better option compare to the light bulb ones. It heat up a 4 square metre bathroom within a minute.
One with smaller capacity probably fit my bathroom size better, but it was not available at my time of purchase.
I used to have problem with wall condense after shower in winter. It just won’t dry, no matter how long I leave the exhaust fan on. But a fan heater clear up all the moist in about 15 mins.
I just like the idea that without turning on the gient light bulb and wake myself up, I can prepare for bed time in a warm bathroom.
On the negative side, it requires larger room between ceiling and roof. My builder ended up work creative to get it installed. And there’s a visible white cords which is annoying.
Overall, highly recommended!

Great modern design with super efficient exhaust. Quiet compared to other fans. Heating and cooling features are a great addition.

This exhaust/fan/heater is great. Super quiet and works as intended. When the ensuite door is closed, you cannot hear the fan, which is great but we sometimes leave it on through the night…Oops. The heater is awesome. There is an element in the unit which heats up and the fan blows the warm air that quickly heats up our 2.5m x 1.8m ensuite. Great for those chilly mornings/evenings if (like me) you don’t have central heating and a duct in the bathroom. Aesthetically, it looks great installed as well – I bought the black one and it finishes pretty much flush with the ceiling (prortudes about 5-7mm). it can also be ducted out (duct is supplied). I put the duct on and stretched it out and sat it in the roof cavity. The LED lights are bright (and dimmable if you have a dimmer switch) and the fan is somewhat easy to install – but you will need an electrician. It’s not cheap at $400, but I think it’s worth the money.
