The Hunter Pacific Logic Remote Control is compatible with most current Hunter Pacific ceiling fan models that have an AC motor and contain a light that we list (check suitability before you buy). The Logic is well suited to dimmable lamps of 36 watts (max) and incandescent lamps 80 watts (max).
Radio Frequency means the remote has a long range and does not have to be pointed towards the fan to operate. It has multi-channel capability to allow for other remote controlled ceiling fans to be used in the house without interfering with each other
A remote control can make installation easier by avoiding having to run wires to a wall control.
Note that one remote per fan is required as the receiver part of the remote has limited capacity. This applies to all remotes.
The Hunter Pacific Logic Remote Control is to be used with a designated ceiling fan light that is dimmable. The handset functions are four fan speeds, a fan timer and light timer both turning off after 1,2,3, or 6 hours. This remote has a dimming function and therefore should only be used with dimmable lights or globes (check suitability before purchasing).
