This sub floor ventilation kit is designed to service areas up to 70m3. This sub floor ventilation system features an Inline VKM (VKM Centrifugal Fan 125mm). It comes with a BTO (Y junction) to allow for 2 intake points.
We have selected the items in this kit for the purposes of DIY installation. Please keep in mind that adding hardwired accessories (speed controllers, thermostats etc) may mean that you will need to hire an electrician.
This is a Sub Floor Ventilation Kit created specifically for areas of up to 70 cubic meters. This sub floor ventilation system features an Inline VKM (VKM Centrifugal Fan 125mm).
Some buildings have very little sub-floor ventilation. Inadequate underfloor ventilation can lead to an accumulation of moisture in the sub floor. This in turn can cause structural and health problems for the home and it’s occupants. The most common reason for inadequate under floor ventilation is that there not enough vents, or they are too small for the size and layout of building. Building extensions, building location and soil type can all contribute to problems in the subfloor.
Note: Please be aware that there may be a slight variation in the products sent with this kit due to stock variation. The fan will always remain the same, however there may be colour differences or slight shape differences in the other components (this will not affect the use of the kit).

- 1x 24hour Timer
- 1x Flex & Plug. Lead and plug will be connected to high speed. To use with optional speed controller, lead and plug will need to be removed so the fan can be hard wired.

| General Exhaust Fan Advice | It is recommended to achieve a minimum of 15 air changes per hour in a bathroom to remove excess moisture., To work this out, calculate the volume of air in the room ( length x width x height, all in meters) and multiply this by the number of air changes to get the required air volume of the fan. |
