The removable cone vent is commonly used for air intake because they take the air from the surrounding surfaces and not directly below. Used widely in conjunction with inline fans, for heat, smoke and vapour (steam) transfer/extraction. Removable face makes for easy cleaning.

This vent can be used on walls as it is screwed on to the wall, instead of having ceiling clips
